The sponsored events have now all taken place and much fun was had by all completing the wide range of events. The children chose their event as a class and they ranged from nose-dribbling tennis balls, to human wheelbarrows, to obstacle courses to goal shooting against the teacher in the new Outdoor Court. So far we have raised over £7100 and there are still some children who have to bring in their sponsorship forms. Thank you for all your support. UNICEF will also be able to claim gift aid on some of this too so the figure will be even greater!

A team of parents and children become the Haiti Fundraising Team and planned the whole school sponsored event. Each class chose their own sponsored event which took place in the first week after half term. Ideas the children came up with included a sponsored skip or a sponsored obstacle course. Have a look at the assembly presentations we made too. The children in each class then collected sponsorship money and as a school community we raised such an amazing amount of money: £7100!
